August 7th update... Jacks & ....

I don't know about everyone else... BUT, I AM MELTING HERE!  This summer is one of the hottest I remember in YEARS! UGH!
So, I am dreaming of cool crisp nights... Now, I don't want to rush things... BUT, I would love less 90's and more low 80's!  Then my windows are open and breezes!!!  Soon very soon, I hope...
So in this heat there is nothing else to do, BUT make pumpkins? LOL.... So I have been creating when I am not melting....
Here they are... PLEASE, if you see one you would like to adopt, these are fresh off the OLM vine!!!
As always all my pumpkins are OLM OOAK Original designs, they will come signed and dated.
My email is at folkart94@msn.com.  I will be checking on and off all day....

He is painted orange, and the grungy process... Hannibal is about 10 " tall with out the stem... about 13 1/2" with that great twisted stem and he is about 32 1/2 around!  Big boy! His nose is about 5" long and painted black....One eye is crossed out and has some cheese cloth...The other eye has some cheese cloth behind the vintage button.. 5. Cheesy Jack.... Another simple jack... Sweet face, painted orange...wool behind one vintage button and wool for his nose that is about 3" long....I used grungy cheese cloth for his mouth and stitched it on with orange DMC floss... He is about 8" tall w/out the stem... 11" with the steam...  He is a plump 29 1/2 around... Kindly asking $30 and travel fare....
 6. All Stitched up Jack... Painted orange... then the grungy process.... All his facial details hand stitched with black DMC floss and vintage buttons for eyes too....  All my Jacks have a mixture of rags and fiber fill for their plump pumpkin bodies! LOL... All stems used are REAL dried stems... they are glued on.  This is the ONLY glue that is used on my Jacks... I have found this is the best way to attach them... So please handle their stems with care and don't lift them by their stems...

Now.... If one reads my blog, you know I have a thing for all things vintage child's size... I recently came a cross another vintage child's metal step back cabinet!  WOW!  I have only ever seen 2... The one I found this winter and this one... I couldn't walk away from it... BUT, really don't need it... so I am sharing it here today....

Here is a close up picture...normal wear for it's age.... cream color with red details... it is about 11x 11 give or take... fun piece to display miniature pieces on!  Kindly asking $38 and travel fare....SOLD! THANK YOU!

Then lastly... I "borrowed" this picture from the family heirloom weavers website.... I had purchase one of these wonderful new farmhouse swags in the new Angstadt #5 pattern in the blue.... BUT... the only one window I had to use it on is really a bit to small for the swag... AND since I wanted over my kitchen sink, my boys thought it was a dish towel and wanted to wipe their hands in it! SIGH!  So I only had it up for about a hour... was a special order so no returns... paid about $50 for it, I believe... can't remember... it is 46x 72.... asking $35 and travel fare.....
I love this style... ugh!  Thanks for taking a moment to peek at my latest creations, please email me with any questions or to give one of my Jack's a home! folkart94@msn.com... Have a great day! OLM
